It’s A Secret?

My best friend absolutely to-die-for loves the Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage. She can go on and on about it, day and night just talking about how great it is. She describes the secret of flawless skin as follows.

The Secret Camouflage covers anything and everything. The compact basically comes with two shades, where you need to mix and blend to match your skin tone. (As Cindy Crawford wrote on her somewhat autobiography - if you apply concealer/foundation on your skin, the part without a blemish, and it completely dissolves then you have found the right skin tone) With this kind of availability to accommodate any kind of skin tone, you can cover any part of your face perfectly. It blends in a way that it doesn’t settle into lines leaving the face stunningly flawless.

Most consumers would think that the price is a bit pricey but its an investment that you’ll highly appreciate. One thing for sure if you add up all the concealers that you’ve used, which don’t last long, to the Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage, you’ve actually saved more money. With this product it can last you up to 2 years (from what I’ve read). And you don’t really need to use a massive amount of it.

Get The Perfect Complexion

One of the most important tools that could be found in my purse at all times is my concealer.  Besides my lip balm of course.
I doubt there is any lady in this planet that has perfect complexion.  Whether it be that she has under-eye circles, blemishes, some weird dark spot on her cheek, redness or whatever may make your complexion not perfect.  I really doubt there is any lady out there.  Hence the invention of concealers.  It is essential. Quite essential in fact.

I have gone through a long list of concealers, in high school I would occasionally “borrow” my mother’s Clinique concealer so hide away my blemishes or even a zit (when I would get one, once in a blue moon).  I probably had no idea how to blend back in the day, but after many trial and errors, the best way to hide a red spot, it simply tapping a bit of concealer (thats on your fingertips) to the spot.  Tapping it, then finishing it off with the face powder that matches your skin tone.

There are better concealers out there that specifically cover up an imperfection.  Yellow based concealer works to hide the greys, blues and browns under your eyes. Green based concealer fights red spots and blotches (From www.sofeminine.co.uk)

Tried and tested concealers that hit the 5 star mark for me are, Laura Mercier Undercover which is also agreed by Katie Campbell and my best-friend.  Clinique’s concealer has a double function! It’s also a moisturizer.  Clinique also carries various concealer pertaining to which imperfection they can conceal.
